Makino looked back at Luffy and made a ‘cut it out’ motion with her hand with a frown, but Luffy stuck out his tongue at her and continued to reach for the hat, not caring if he was getting less dinner as punishment.
Luffy’s small fingers caressed the brim of the straw hat, and he smiled in victory, while Makino made a chocked sound.
Suddenly, a hand appeared and grabbed his wrist, stopping his arm from moving, holding on to tightly and painfully. Luffy’s heart stopped, and he let out a yelp, trying to get out of the red-haired man’s hold in fear, his blood pumping in his ear loudly. The red-haired man had opened his eyes and was looking down at Luffy, his hold on his wrist was still firm, and his face void of emotion which made Luffy’s skin crawl.
"And what do you think you're doing?" The man spoke, his voice was even and low.

Summary
Akaashi Keiji is a competitive figure skater, and has been his whole life. Ever since he could remember, he's always been pushed by everyone around him to be great. To never fail. To satisfy his mother's desire of him going to the Winter Olympics.
Everything was going fine for him, his routine at the rink with his friends running smoothly. Until one day, the University Hockey team was temporarily moved to his rink. Thanks to his meddling best friend, Akaashi is pushed into introducing himself to well-known hockey star Bokuto Koutarou. His attraction to the wild-eyed and kind-hearted man is almost instant.
Akaashi soon finds himself falling all to fast for his liking. Before he could catch himself, he was pushed out of his comfort zone and into worlds beyond. As his new relationship with Bokuto blossoms, he learns that his worth is so much more than his performance, and to accept the haunting truths in his life he's been running from for so long.

Summary
When Akaashi first saw the red string tied to his pinky, he figured it was a side effect of the third cup of coffee he’d had that night. One five-hour drive later, he realizes that it’s very much real, and whatever is tied to the other end of that thread should more aptly be labeled a pipe dream rather than an actual person.

Akaashi has twenty-four hours to find his soulmate. Bokuto wakes up thinking that this whole situation is a bad joke. Kuroo’s just along for the ride.

Upon investigating, she discovered what she thought was a wolf, and took her father’s shotgun to the creature when it tried to attack. Then the sun rose, and the wolf was very much not a wolf anymore. In sheer panic over the possibility of murdering someone, Bo didn’t even consider the impossible event she had just witnessed and instead focused on keeping the stranger alive.
And that was that. They spoke to one another, they laughed, and hardly spent a day apart over the summer. He’d found someone willing to accept him without a second thought, and she’d found an inquisitive spirit that her small hometown sorely lacked.
But his world was on the brink of war, and no one was safe. Not a wizard, not a werewolf, and certainly not the woman who loved him.
