Summary
Donghae's mind reaches out. His fingers pinch the denim covering Hyukjae's knee. He is in one body in two places, and in both places he finds something like a—a loose thread, a single loose thread paralleled in the grand tapestry of the sky and the simpler weave of Hyukjae's jeans, and—
He pulls.
Donghae lays his head on Hyukjae's shoulder and breathes his way back home.
(Or: Five times mutant Donghae calls rain—and one time it rains without him.)

Summary
Memoirs of time are engraved all over Kurosaki's body— in the numerous scars scattered across his skin, in the calluses etched into his palms from the patterned grip of his sword.
Grimmjow's skin, covered by a protective organ engineered to perfection, doesn't bear any witness to the relentless journey of time.
Grimmjow is changeless. Kurosaki's skin will wrinkle with time.

Summary
There are silver streaks in Kurosaki’s hair. His expression isn’t set in the permanent frown Grimmjow’s used to—he’s not wearing much of an expression at all, face blank in a studied manner—but there are still faint lines on his forehead and softer, sweeter crinkles at the corners of his eyes and mouth. He’s broader in the shoulders and chest, and the lines of his body have softened.
This isn’t the boy he left behind.
“You’re old,” Grimmjow hears himself say.
Kurosaki’s careful non-expression breaks open into a crooked smile. His eyes glitter; they, at least, are that familiar warm brown, which soothes Grimmjow in a way he’s not keen on acknowledging.
“Older,” Kurosaki says. “And immortal ghost twunks don’t get to talk about my age.”

Summary
The day was pleasantly clear at the riverside — picturesque with a bright blue sky and a gentle breeze, making it perfect for waiting until Ichigo's return from Soul Society, and yet here Kisuke was, surrounded by those he cared for the most, feeling quietly out of place.
A continuation of episode 366's last scene.

Summary
He was happy like this, happy to watch the two people he loved most get married to each other while he never told the truth, never bared his heart, happy to lay his head down on the cold hard ground by their feet while they held each other.
Shinji loved them so much it was okay.

Summary
“You’re not alone,” he says. “Not anymore. You’ve got Inoue, and Ishida, and Chad. They’re all thankful to you – they all care about you. And me. Especially me. I… I guess I’ve come to rely on you.”
There’s a long silence before Urahara turns back, his smile soft, and Ichigo feels something shift low in his stomach. “Thank you,” he says.
Or: The long road of Ichigo and Kisuke's relationship is pockmarked by gifts, some worth more than others. Some worth more than Ichigo can repay.
