It’s all he can think about as he hobbles through the narrow alley, pain squeezing his hind leg like a rubber band.
The stray that nearly tore his leg off was still roaming around, so Yoongi, despite the blinding pain and the ever-growing and overwhelming feeling of tiredness, limped his way down the alley towards the vet clinic. Towards the kid.
That nice kid, with a kind and gentle voice that worked at the clinic and always left a small bowl with water and a can of tuna out for him. He’d like to see the kid one more time.

The myth of Medusa always began the same – the tale tells of a Gorgon, a hideous creature cursed with the ability to turn men into stone with a single look; forever fated to be a monster.
Rarely had the myth discussed the severity of Medusa’s punishment, or the fact that the monster that came to be had not been born a monster, but instead turned into one due to the wrath of a vengeful goddess. History was always written by the victors and it wasn’t any different in Medusa’s case. Someone had to be the villain – Yoongi just drew the short end of the stick in the entire ordeal.

"We're absolutely not calling it that." Yoongi sputters and glares at Namjoon.
"You're always sleeping in the window, what the hell am I supposed to call it then?" Namjoon glares right back, equally irked off.
Well, to be fair to Namjoon, people had started including Yoongi into their descriptions of the bookstore - 'yeah, it's a really cool place, there's a huge cat always sleeping in the front window, you can't really miss it.'
And while Yoongi didn't appreciate the comments about his size - he was an average built cat, thank you very much - he had to admit that he'd become somewhat of a landmark for the bookstore.
"Please hyung? Pretty please?" Namjoon floors him with his best rendition of sad puppy eyes and Yoongi is a weak, weak man that cannot resist him.
So he agrees. Begrudgingly, but he agrees.
