Summary
“What do you want, Joker?” Goro snarls down at him, canines bared, and Ren’s messed-up heart decides this is the moment to shift into a faster gear.
“What do you think? A little birdie told me you were lurking around, so I had to see for myself.”

Summary
Five years later, Ren is a moderately popular streamer and Akechi is a well-known author/model/talk show guest with a rabid fanbase. They haven't spoken— at least, not until Ren calls Akechi his celebrity crush on stream.

Summary
Akira felt his throat dry up as he watched the likes and retweets climb to new heights, not only on Akechi's quote retweet but also his own post. Replies after replies flooded his notifications, appearing and gone so fast, he couldn't even read a single one of them.
He just stood, unmoving, staring at his phone, wondering what any of this meant. He hadn't tagged Akechi, hadn't even used his name, knew for a fact that he didn't follow him – at least not with the account he had shared this from.
Goro Akechi came back from the dead to be a famous model, never contacting Akira once. Until he does. Publically, on Twitter, of all places.

Summary
“Stop me," is all he can say, through grit teeth, his hands fisted in Akira’s shirt.
“Why?” Akira just asks, and his voice is so, so honest.
Goro swallows hard, feels it bob in the pit of his throat. “I could ruin you otherwise.”
Akira just gives him a lopsided smile; Goro thinks it’s awfully unfair that he’s still this adorable, even with blood on his face. Akira jerks his head sideways and his glasses clatter uselessly to the floor. Somehow, he seems more see-through now than ever.
Akira covers Goro’s hands with his own, leaning in close. “Nothing is stopping you,” he whispers, breath hot against Goro’s ear, perfect lips just grazing the shell, “Take what’s yours.”
(Morgana convinces Akechi to spend one last night at Leblanc. In his defense, he likely didn’t expect Akechi to spend it by living out a long-running fantasy he’s had of punching Akira in the face.)
(Which might have actually been a little too effective.)

Summary
The Phantom Thieves have nearly secured their route through Maruki's Palace. There’s only one section left: The Twilight Corridor. A paradise where everything is perfect, and everyone is always smiling.
In order to enter that place, the Thieves must first prove they've "completed orientation" and can be "happy." There are points, there is a scoreboard, and they’re locked together in an experimental space where wishes can be granted by simply saying them aloud. Everyone has to individually earn 100 happiness points, or no one is leaving.
So what is “happiness,” really? How does Maruki define happiness? What the hell is a quantifiable happiness point? Is there any way around this? Don’t these stupid kids realize this is a trick to get them to fall back into the thrall of Maruki’s reality? And why can’t Goro earn any fucking points?
(Or: I've been watching too much Dropout Game Changer and I’ve built an Akechi torture chamber.)
Includes illustrations by the amazing engraved!
