Summary
When Eddie spends the summer before senior year at Christian summer camp, no one misses him more than Richie, but when he finally meets the Losers again, he is not at all what Richie had prepared for. Eddie Kasprak looks ready to sin.
xxxxxxx
“Hurry up, Richie. It’s so hot.” Eddie whined. Richie’s dick twitched in his pants.
“Sorry,” he muttered. After some fiddling, he finally managed to get the pesky crucifix off and Eddie turned around to take it.
They were standing very close.
Eddie grabbed at the chain in Richie’s hand, fingers brushing together briefly as he smiled.
“Thanks, Rich.” He admonished, bending over to wrap the necklace around his fallen bike’s handlebars.
As he leant over, Richie couldn’t help but think he was being tested by God. Perhaps, the crease between Eddie’s ass and thighs was a punishment for his impure thoughts. Or maybe the tight curve of Eddie’s ass underneath the simple black briefs was a direct threat.

Summary
"He was coaching Eddie through a new set of questions, trying to get him more comfortable with the question style and stopping periodically to ask after his mother and make fun of Eddie's handwriting ("Cute handwriting, Eddie Spaghetti. You get anything else from your mom?"). That's all Richie ever did - tease. So he must have been exaggerating when he said, "Woah – that was fast! Well done! You did amazing on that set!"
Nonetheless, the feeling in Eddie' stomach raged. He felt a little too hot. "Is it... hot in this room?" He asked, breaking eye contact and staring at the page."

Summary
Richie doesn't have any mention of a boyfriend, past or present, on his Wikipedia article and he’s never talked about it to any of them, probably. Maybe Stan, because he’s the only one who can keep secrets. If he talked to Mike about it, everyone would know, and if he talked about it to Ben he wouldn’t tell anyone except Mike and Mike would tell everyone anyway. Maybe Bev. (Is it homophobic if Eddie thinks Richie might tell Bev about being gay? Eddie googles but the results are inconclusive.)
None of them seem particularly well-versed in the subject, so he probably hasn’t talked to any of them. It occurs to him that maybe, if he was still in New York, he would assume that the people closer to Richie should handle it.
Is this Eddie’s job? As the person living in his backyard, it probably is. Eddie’s heart starts to thump worryingly in his chest. It can’t be his job.
But he’s been staying in Richie’s pool house. He’s been swimming in his pool. The most he contributes to Richie’s life is the occasional 48-pack of Fruit Roll-Ups. He hasn’t even chipped in for utilities.
Oh shit. It’s totally his job.

Summary
A few days ago just an ounce of Richie's attention was almost too much to bear. Now, he feels engulfed in it — hot tickling flames that spread from his chest to his fingers when their wrists touch between the seats of the car. It hurts when Richie looks at him and it hurts when he looks away. Funny how much clearer things get when there aren't any distractions.

“I know it's a grind, but
I'm sure we can find
A way to have fun
While we get this job done” -Troy Bolton, Work This Out, High School Musical 2Or, Eddie hates the office's new receptionist and the feeling is certainly, definitely (probably, maybe?) mutual.

Summary
Richie figures that by the time he feels like telling Ben, it’s high time he tells the rest of his friends too. He doesn’t think they’ll have a problem with it, not necessarily, but life is full of ‘what ifs’, and the idea of being outcasted more than he already was by a group of people he loved the most pretty much scared him shitless.
Which is why when Richie walks into calculus surprisingly early after lunch and nearly rams face first into one of the cutest boys he’s ever seen in his life, he’s pretty sure he’s fucked. Like, ultimately and eternally fucked.

Summary
Eddie and Richie don't seem to understand the concept of personal space.
Maybe everything would've been less confusing if they just gave each other a little space.
Instead, Richie and Eddie learn not to play games that they don't have a rule book for.
