Summary
Peter Parker knew he was dying.
Yet he wakes up alive. Just not in his body. A body that belongs to a Peter, who too, chose to end his life rather than face the truth of his reality.
They both died alone, but only one remains.
Only one of them knows why they chose to die, now it's up to Peter to figure what lead to Peter Wayne to taking his life through a series of journal entries littered around a manor he doesn't recognize, avoid the family he suspects had played a roll in Wayne's suicide, and play the part of a clueless child.

It's a hallucination, like all the rest. Objectively, Tim understands that.
But he feels the words like an icepick in his chest all the same, and a part of him knows. This version of Dick might not be real, these words might not be real, but what he's saying is true anyway.
"Are you fucking listening to me?" says the man in the red helmet. "The big bad bat's not coming to save you." There's a crash, and when Tim turns toward it, his desk's been overturned. His laptop is lying on the floor in a tangle of cords. If any of this were actually happening, Tim might be afraid that it was broken.

When Peter Parker sees the man who has become his dad wielding the Infinity Gauntlet alone, he thinks "Hell no!" and grabs his hand just as he snaps. And because the Infinity Stones listen to the wishes of those that wield them, neither Peter nor Tony dies. Instead, they wake up in an alleyway smelling things they shouldn't be able to, de-aged to thirteen and thirty-three respectively, and somehow pick up the title of the Godfather and the Godson as they maneuver this hostile city.
