Shang Qinghua transmigrates into his own terrible novel as a baby. The fact that this seems to be a world based on his first draft, where things actually happened and the plot did matter, is less than comforting. Having a second chance is nice, but ending up as cannon fodder and dying offscreen are the last things he wants to do. The only way to avoid his 'canonical' fate is to do as the System demands and try to fix his mistakes from within the world he created.
Somehow this ends up with a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed Luo Binghe as an An Ding Peak disciple, because writing about a kid being miserable and seeing a kid being miserable are apparently two entirely different skillsets.

Ori, fearing for his brother, begs the captain of the guard, saying he'd do anything, anything at all, to save his brother. Dwalin says he'll let Nori go in exchange for Ori himself. Ori, thinking he's trading a night in a seedy inn for his brother's arm, agrees. What he didn't expect after Nori had been let go, was for Dwalin to braid a marriage bead into Ori's hair and take the scribe home with him.
Ori finds himself having breakfast with princes and kings, working a new job with the best in his field, and trying to navigate a relationship with a guardsman who has more power over Ori's life and happiness than either of them want.

AKA The Time the Force Sent Obi-Wan Back in Time and Quinlan Vos kept him from Going Kamikaze because let’s be Honest, Being Forced to Come Back in Time Would Suck.
The Force has sent Obi-Wan back in time, allowing him a chance to fix everything.
Quinlan doesn't know this, all he knows is that the Force has been practically screaming at him to get to Obi-Wan. Quinlan might not be good at following the code, but he always does his best to follow the Force. Which is why he's there the day that Obi-Wan can't take it anymore.
Obi-Wan is a stubborn man, but Quinlan has his own special brand of stubborn, the force, two battalions of clones, one former padawan, and one grandpadawan on his side. Maybe, just maybe, they might be enough to save the galaxy and keep Obi-Wan sane.
Saving the galaxy might be the easy part.

Started as a prompt that was meant to be a drabble... and I got carried away. (Oh, Lord, write this fic). I won't lie, there are no concrete plans for this series re: how many parts of an overarching plotline. Each part seems to be happening accidentally. As of writing this (Oct 8, 2019), there are two parts and a plot bunny rubbing her paws wondering about a third. We shall see. ♥
