“Sorry,” Steve says. “I’m sorry, I know this doesn’t make any sense to you, but can I just–”
Eddie lets him approach, this time. Lets him reach out to touch, to curl his fingers in the hem of Eddie’s shirt.
“Sorry, I know I probably sound crazy, I just––” he pulls it up, stares at Eddie’s side, and then lets out a hysterical little noise that sounds like a cross between a laugh and a sob.
“You’re ok,” Steve says.
His fingers are hot on Eddie’s skin, pressed light and shockingly reverent to the space between his hip and rib cage.
“You’re ok,” he repeats. It sounds like he’s trying to convince himself.
“Hey,” Eddie says. It comes out more breathless than he’d prefer but Steve fucking Harrington has him backed against a wall in a bathroom with his hands up Eddie’s shirt so he thinks a little lack of air is warranted. “Are you ok?”
The fingers on his abdomen flex. "No,” Steve says. His eyes are wide and fathomless and the look on his face is terrible. “No, I’m not even remotely ok.”

Steve has secret powers, which isn't really an issue except he's now dealing with his unexpected feelings(tm) for one Eddie Munson and suddenly things just got a lot more complicated. Also, he has the nasty habit of blowing shit up when he gets stressed which makes the whole 'secret' part of his powers hard.
The situation is totally and completely under his control, he just has to plan this stupid 'We saved the world (again)' party and he should be fine.

It’s the first time in a while that he doesn’t know what comes next. He’s dove into the water hundreds of times. Screamed as his flesh was torn apart, heard Master of Puppets in the distance and held back tears. Felt Max’s cold, small hand in his as she laid in the hospital bed. There are things that always happen, no matter how hard he tries: El doesn’t arrive in time. Eddie dies. Max is put in a coma.
Steve fails. They lose.
“Steve, how many loops have you been through?”
His head is nodding, and his eyes are watery, and Eddie has approached him like a spooked animal.
“I lost count.”
AKA: The one where Steve Harrington is stuck in a time loop, and Eddie Munson is really fucking hard to save, or: fuck Volume 2, these bitches are in love.

Which is fairly drunk, all things considered; Skelligens don't fuck around about that sort of thing.
Geralt has been foolish about many things in his long life, and every time to his detriment; he'll not make the mistake of deluding himself that someone like Jaskier, with all the world open to him and everything to offer in return, would ever really choose Geralt's company in that way.

Summary
Geralt, gaunt, damp as if he’d just come out of the rain, a touch of blood in his white hair the only spot of colour on him; Yennefer, dressed head to toe in black, with piercing eyes and with a wild, hungry look to her; and Jaskier, smiling at her so sweetly, looking almost ordinary but with blood soaking into his clothes and smeared across his hands and dripping horribly from the corner of his mouth.
They were, all three of them, quite unmistakably dead.
“I’ve been thinking,” said Ciri. “And I think you’re going to have to leave.”
Jaskier, Yennefer and Geralt had been haunting their house - and driving each other up the wall - when for the first time in decades they find themselves sharing with Livings. The new inhabitants include a little girl, Ciri, mourning the raw and recent loss of her parents - who after a sudden accident, might just be able to see the dead.

Summary
Curiously enough, Jaskier had been looking forward to the winter. After a year of living virtually inside Geralt’s clothes he’d been looking forward to putting some space between them. The reality of having space is rather more daunting than the idea of it. The prospect of a whole season without Geralt makes him feel rather as if he’s missing a limb.
Jaskier buys a kitten, steals Geralt's clothes, and almost misses being cursed. (Maybe he just misses his witcher.)

Jaskier had forced the Dominant within himself to lay dormant for years to stay by Geralt’s side.

“What happened?” the witcher says finally.
Jaskier blinks. “That’s quite a big question. I’m afraid you’ll need to be more specific.”
“With Nilfgaard,” the witcher clarifies, growling slightly. “It shouldn’t – it didn’t happen like this.”
In 1240, Jaskier the bard leaves Posada earlier than planned because of a devil in the mountains.
In 1263, three years after Nilfgaard conquers the north, Julian Pankratz, viscount of Lettenhove, hires a witcher and learns about the path his life should have taken.
