Six months had passed since the Library had been cast from The City by the Head—despite what it may seem, a feeling of mundanity has finally settled on the Library, with its inhabitants knowing that they may rest, their duty having been fulfilled. Yet, this peace is not to last. Carmen’s dead hand meddles with experiments from beyond, with the Library caught by them.
Meanwhile, on June 4th, 1980, George Herbert Walker Bush abandons his party, having seen it tarnished by charismatic and deceiving forces that subverted the Party he knew and loved. Something was coming, yet Reagan and Connally had sought not to fight it. No, they cowered. Embittered, he sought to do everything in his power to defang those who hated America.
A chance meeting brings these two forces together on one fateful June 5th...
