Rumi grits her teeth and pulls her hand out of her pajama shorts, another bolt of pleasure following it; she feels raw, as if she’s been grinding against her own hand for hours in her sleep, which is entirely possible. Her fingers are pruny. Her hand is soaked to the wrist. The shorts make an obscene wet sound, sticking to her clammy skin.
“Are you serious,” Rumi groans. Silence answers her, because she’s alone in her bedroom, because neither Mira or Zoey are sprawled out either side of her like usual.
Rumi’s going into heat, and neither of her alphas are even in Seoul.

Summary
Secrets mean that she's still safe. That she hasn't ruined her only chance at fixing herself yet.
So when Rumi begins having less-than-appropriate thoughts about her bandmates, it's just another thing she adds to the shelf.
They were nothing more than intrusive thoughts at first.
Everyone gets those. Who hasn't accidentally imagined their friends in a sexual context at least once? It happens, and she knows it doesn't mean anything. Mira and Zoey are objectively incredibly attractive, it can easily be explained as a completely normal compulsion.
So life goes on. Things are normal, and every now and again Rumi thinks about fucking her friends.

Mira frowns, pausing her scratching under Derpy's chin (he does not seem to mind. Or notice. Honestly, Mira's not exactly sure if the tiger is even aware that he's alive, sometimes…). “I’m not supposed to be cute. Zoey is cute-”
“Aw, thank you!”
“-you are cute, puppies are cute, Derpy is cute.”
“Mira you’re very, very cute,” Zoey disagrees loudly from where she’s poking at a pot on the stove.
“No, I- ugh. Whatever, not the point. Why did you two say that, anyway, about me being some closet romantic?”
Rumi blinks at her. “Because… you are?”
“I am not- when have you ever seen me fawn over someone opening a door?” Mira scoffs, resuming her ministrations on their fluffy visitor.
“Never, but-”
"So why did you do that? Now people think I'm some swooning idiot."
“Right, no- Mira, I meant that you like to do those things.”
“Duh,” Zoey calls helpfully from the kitchen.In which Mira decides to sweep Rumi and Zoey off their feet, and Rumi and Zoey are too stupid (affectionate) to realize it.

Zoey froze.
The satin fabric of a business suit pressed roughly against her skin; the sharp weight of an elbow dug into her shoulder; the fist in Zoey's hair gripped tight, a searing, relentless pull.
What she noticed most of all, though, were the fangs.
"Are you done?" Celine's voice was clipped, sharp as a blade and twice as cold, just like her daughter. "Or do you need a firmer hand?"
Just like her daughter, she smelled extra sweet.
