“Is … Will, is there someone there with you?”
The answer was immediate. “No! God, Mike, no. If Hopper found out, he would kill the guy that was here. It’s just … and don’t make a big deal out of it or anything, but, um, I was drawing - ha, it’s kinda - well, uh, you. I’m drawing you.”
“Oh.” Mike said it before he had a chance to process what Will had said. And before he even knew what he was saying next, he asked, “What am I wearing in the drawing?”
“Uh, well it’s realism, and I’m practicing, like, body positioning, so - um, nothing. You’re not wearing anything.”

It's the summer after graduation, and Mike comes up with a special D&D campaign - one that only him and Will can play. One where they kiss and touch and … well, you know.

Summary
Not that Will is not thankful that the Wheelers are even open to spontaneously hosting them for the unforeseeable future — of course he is. But for Will to go from almost a year of little to no contact to Mike to suddenly being forced into close proximity to him, first into a stuffy pizza van, only to now also invade his home?
The verdict is still out on this one — either, these circumstances are going to lead to the best months of Will’s last two years, or they will very much result in his unavoidable and torturously slow death.
Seven moments which cause Will to question the nature of his and Mike's relationship, all during the time he stays at the Wheelers.

Summary
"Woah," Mike breathed. His eyes widened as they landed on Will's flushed face. "Your cheeks are really red, dude." He reached forward, setting the box on the counter next to a bowl and a carton of eggs.
Will tried to pretend like he wasn't dying on the inside. "Hot," he managed, voice higher than its usual pitch. His eyes betrayed him as he looked up and down Mike's half-naked form. His jaw tightened as he forcefully snapped his eyes back up and away from Mike’s waist. "Hot in here, I mean. Not you.” Jesus Christ, Will, focus, he told himself. This was the moment he decided he was officially suffering. This was a hostage situation and Mike was torturing him with his stunning physique.
“What, you don't think I look hot?” Mike teased, gesturing to himself, as if he couldn't make it any worse.
Is he doing this on purpose? Does he think this is funny? Does he know the way my guts start doing acrobatics inside of me when he’s around? Or, is he completely oblivious?
Will couldn't decide which was worse.

1) Abandoning everything he's ever known, he's moved to Elmwood, California to live with his mom's new fiancée, who might as well be a complete stranger.
2) Elmwood happens to be the town Leo lives in.
3) Evan can't bring himself to admit it, because he's hopelessly, madly crushing on him. -

Summary
“Thanks for taking care of me, Mike. I didn’t mean to drink this much.” Mike locks the dorm door behind him with a quiet click. “I could’ve had Carlton walk me back. If you wanted to stay at the party.”
Mike rolls his eyes, taking a deliberate step closer. “Yeah, I bet he would've loved that. And, please... stop saying his fucking name, okay?”
Will swallows. “Sorry, I just meant…I’m so happy you’re here, but I know you’re not just here to see me, and you probably want—”
Mike cuts him off without a second thought. He grabs Will’s arms, and shoves him lightly but firmly against the wall. Their chests collide. Will freezes—but Mike doesn’t back down. “Will…you have no idea what I want,” he whispers, eyes dropping to Will’s lips. Every shred of control he’s ever clung to around him melting.
