Chaewon despised flames, fire. But what she despised more than that? Firefighters. Why? You might ask, after all, firefighters were the ones who put fires out. Saved people from the very thing that she despised in the first place. But the short-haired girl couldn’t accept that, not really, not when they didn’t save the right people. Not until a certain brunette walked right into her life, and extinguished the fiery burn of hate that had ignited in her chest.

Caitlyn gestures to her newly insulated tent. “Did you…?”
Vi’s jaw tightens, gaze flicking anywhere but Caitlyn’s face. “You were cold last night."
"Yes, but why?"
Vi hesitates. “I didn’t fix it to prove anything,” she mutters. “And I didn’t do it so you’d stay.”
Caitlyn’s heart stutters.
“But,” Vi adds, almost reluctantly, “if you are going to be here… you should be able to sleep.”
