The witch hunt was over six months ago, but that hasn't changed the attitude towards Varian. He is still the cursed son of a witch who does 'magic' in his laboratory. Even when he tries to help, he is still considered a 'witch' or "wizard". No matter how many times he explains to people that he is an alchemist; no matter how many good deeds he does, he will always be a monster in their eyes, all because of the pathetic old woman who wished to live forever and stole the princess. His life is this is the solitude of the laboratory. His desire is to help people and become the engine of scientific progress. Who would have thought that all this would turn against him when the princess of Corona came to him for help. Varian knew that magic only brought him harm. Expect that the birth This magic, even if the princess would be useful, was not worth it.

“I love you, too, Kacchan.” Izuku pulls back from their hug, his bottom lip wobbling.
“Good,” Katsuki replies. He puts an arms’ length of distance between them. “Then you know a year’s not gonna change a thing between us. I’m gonna do this internship and you’re gonna get your research published. A year is gonna go by in a flash. It’s even gonna be even faster than Four Eyes, alright?”
“Kacchan,” Izuku repeats, his voice as low as a whisper.
After graduating from U.A., Katsuki accepts an internship which takes him overseas for twelve months. He promises Izuku that in twelve months they’ll be back together again. Twelve months turns into thirteen years.

Summary
During a routine raid the heroes have a much harder time than expected while fighting what was supposed to be a rookie yakuza group. Many heroes are seriously injured, including a very grumpy underground hero, and two are out of commission.
After the raid, they find a notebook filled to the brim with extremely detailed information in pro- and underground heroes alike. To their surprise the villain who acquired the information on the heroes had left a note for them that makes their job of bringing them to justice much easier. On the second page of the book it reads: ‘If found, please return to Midoriya Izuku’.
Or
Villains got a hold of Middle school Izuku’s hero notebook and used it to get an advantage over the heroes. When the notebook is found after the raid the heroes think that Midoriya had sold the information to the group and is brought in under the assumption that he is working with the yakuza.
Cue a very scared and confused Izuku, a very parental Aizawa, a very concerned Tsukauchi, and a very pissed Sir Night eye.
