Summary
The witch hunt was over six months ago, but that hasn't changed the attitude towards Varian. He is still the cursed son of a witch who does 'magic' in his laboratory. Even when he tries to help, he is still considered a 'witch' or "wizard". No matter how many times he explains to people that he is an alchemist; no matter how many good deeds he does, he will always be a monster in their eyes, all because of the pathetic old woman who wished to live forever and stole the princess. His life is this is the solitude of the laboratory. His desire is to help people and become the engine of scientific progress. Who would have thought that all this would turn against him when the princess of Corona came to him for help. Varian knew that magic only brought him harm. Expect that the birth This magic, even if the princess would be useful, was not worth it.

“Midoriya-sensei!”
Kota trotted over, holding up Midoriya’s phone, which was vibrating and blasting All Might’s overly enthusiastic ringtone:
“A phone call is here! A phone call is--”
Midoriya lunged for it, face burning red. “T-Thank you, Kota!”
The students exchanged looks.
Mayumi leaned in slightly, trying to eavesdrop, but Midoriya noticed and gently swatted her away like a buzzing fly.
“Uh… yeah, Sure! When? Tonight? Um, I guess that’s fine? Mhm, yeah. I was going to grade some pop quizzes, but that can wait… Alright. Be safe,” he said softly. He was about to hang up--
When suddenly a burst of very loud yelling came from the other side.
The kids perked up again, eyes locked onto their teacher. Midoriya flinched, then awkwardly brought the phone back to his ear with a sheepish eIxpression.
“…Love you.”
This job really didn’t pay enough.

He soon discovers that those memories will get off to a rocky start when the airport loses his luggage and he’s repeatedly spotted by fans not even 48 hours after his would-be wedding. It only gets worse when the beach house he’s staying in happened to be double-booked and now he has a detective roommate who is way too nosy for his own good.
