Hawkins is a small town, everyone knows everyone—and Eddie has been in school with Steve Harrington since kindergarten. They were in the same third grade play in elementary, they were square dance partners for a week in seventh, and they had three years in the same remedial math classes in high school. Eddie knows his way around Harrington’s house as well as any other teenager in Hawkins does, went to all the same house parties, the same field parties, the same lake parties. Hell, Eddie has sold Harrington weed countless times, he’s one of his best customers because Harrington pays extra for Eddie to roll for him.

Steve's mind is so clouded that he doesn’t even notice the shadowy figure in his path. It’s the scent of rainy pine with an accent of silky smoke assaulting his senses that finally gets him to take note. The alpha’s presence makes his inner omega keen with need while Steve immediately freezes. Looking up from the forest floor, he takes in the mysterious figure.
"Well, well, well… Steve Harrington. Do my eyes deceive me?" The alpha gives a deep chuckle that vibrates the air around them, "What brings you here? Don't cha know these woods are dangerous?" A wicked smile curves on the alpha's face. Brown eyes unforgiving as they trace slowly up and down Steve's body.
OR
Steve heads home from Robin's after his heat makes an unexpected appearance. He takes a shortcut home through the woods where a patiently awaiting alpha takes his opportunity.

Things that Dean ... didn't want Sam to know. But now, people know, and the cat can't go back into the bag, as much as Dean wishes it could.
Now, alongside the chronic pain he's lived with for his entire life, Dean also has to deal with Sam knowing about it. Trying to fix it.
And Cas... well, Cas is doing his angel thing. Which Dean doesn't really have the energy to figure out on top of everything else.
