Summary
Astarion is near the docks when he feels Cazador's compulsion on him snap. He doesn't think twice. He just takes the next available ship out of Baldur's Gate. Its destination: The City of Splendors. Waterdeep.

Gale takes back the glass, now empty, and then seems to fidget a little. “There is something I wanted to get your opinion on- but it can wait until you’ve recovered. You don’t look well at all- no offense meant, of course.”
“None taken,” Astarion says sweetly. “Please go on. Tell me exactly what it is about my appearance that you find lacking.”

Summary
"The transformation he’s dreading never comes. Somewhere inside him a month's worth of panic dilutes but doesn’t dissipate. Logistically, he knows it shouldn’t. After all, they did their part to end what ailed the Hackett’s for years. It shouldn’t be a shock that his flesh isn’t pulling tauter by the second, straining against inhuman muscle and bone.
It should be comforting. He’s not so sure comfort is something he can feel anymore."A month by month retrospective of grief and being able to love despite it.

Summary
Dreaming about being a princess and getting married to a blue haired prince with a glass skateboard? Sweet. Reki could get behind that. It was kind of fun actually, envisioning himself running around a castle in a blue ball gown, hand in hand with the most handsome man he had ever seen. It was no big deal, just a fun scene his mind had made up.
But once the new Canadian transfer student walks into his homeroom - Langa Hasegawa was his name - Reki’s dreams suddenly didn’t seem all that insignificant.
(AU where Reki dreams up Cindereki before even meeting Langa and falls head-over-glass-heels in real life, too.)
