A friend of mind recently read The Wicker Man and, having not seen the film, thought that Howie and Summerisle were supposed to be significantly younger than they actually are. So have this short, sweet story about Howie and Summerisle being awkward teens (and by awkward teens I mean awkward late teens/early 20 somethings so everyone is of age), with a heavy dollop of my favorite Wicker Man fannon interpretation; Lord-Summerisle-could-have-anyone-but-he-only-wants-Howie!

“But you’re a vampire,” Daniel says, like in 450 years Armand must have forgotten. “Couldn’t you just… fly us out? Or melt the snow with the fire thing you do?”
Armand rolls his eyes and throws one leg over Daniel.
“We’re snowed in, Daniel,” he says a third time as he settles on top of him and then dips down for a kiss. “Snowed in for the holidays…”
