Till glances at the insect, whose legs pathetically stick up in the air, and swallows thickly. But not being raised at all aside, he knows how to play nice at the very least, so he replies, “That’s—really. Good. You can bury it over there or something.”

Summary
Till didn’t know what was happening. His body’s never acted like this before. No one’s ever talked about it, or what to do in such a situation. Each time the fabric of his pants brushed against his skin he shivered with a sense of heat and unfamiliarity.
All he knew was that he had to get away from everyone— as soon as possible— and sort it out on his own.

Ivan had once seen humans copulate. It was strange, seeing two people knit over each other, like flesh over an unstitched wound. Was this another part of human nature, lost to enslavement?
They seemed to be in pain, yet they relished in some pleasure that Ivan didn’t understand.
