Mike was holding his hand; they had gone out for lunch. Their hands slotted together neatly, and Will could feel Mike’s pointed knuckles with his thumb. He could sense himself glowing, beaming even. No one had cared, no one batted an eye.
They shared a milkshake, Will looking up through his eyelashes to see Mike looking back. Mike’s nose crinkled, grinning while he still had the straw between his teeth. It was like they were any other couple.
Then the scene shifted.

Nella voce di Simone c'è una presa in giro ma scherzosa.
“Non è colpa mia se ‘sto coso è una chiavica, Simò,” anche nella voce di Mimmo riesce a sentire il sorriso.
“Ma si può sape' chi c’ha messo mano?”
Simone non risponde e Manuel non ha bisogno di levarsi le mani in faccia per vedere che si è girato a guardare lui.
Se non so bono manco a questo, che m’è rimasto?Ovvero: Mimmo può finire di scontare la pena dai Balestra e questo porta alla convivenza in spazi ristretti di Simone, Mimmo e Manuel. Che potrebbe andare storto è una domanda retorica perché la risposta è ovvia.
