    And then there’s Chuuya.
    If he asked Dazai to define him, to name his purpose, Chuuya already knows what he would hear.
    Chuuya is his dog, Chuuya is a slug, Chuuya is a chibi.
    And sure, maybe he is. But none of that is enough.

     

    Or, Chuuya can’t figure out what he means to Dazai exactly, but if he would only listen, he would realize that Dazai has been telling him all along.

    “Do you want to try something different?” Chuuya murmurs, spit slick lips descending to Dazai’s jaw. He pulls back, setting his gaze on Dazai’s gleaming eyes. The pretty dust of red on his cheeks is Chuuya’s ruination. Alive, he’s alive and he is Chuuya’s. Chuuya pours something sweet and cloying in his voice, leaving no room for misunderstandings. Dazai digs his fingers on the meat of Chuuya’s ass. “To help you sleep?”

    “Yeah?” Dazai sways forward, seeking Chuuya’s lips. Heat on his skin and thickness poking between the crease of Chuuya’s thigh through his boxers. He nuzzles into his cheekbone, and Chuuya has to resist the urge to laugh. “Mmm… Tell me more.”

    But this time it wasn't because of that, alright. To be honest, Dazai was quite certain that everything was solved—that Atsushi would catch him in time."

    Or, Dazai was trying to solve a case, but he ends up as another victim... in a different world.

    Or or, ADA Dazai Osamu in BEAST universe, having to deal with a BEAST PM boss Chuuya that recently lost his Dazai and is barely holding it together. When he sees ADA Dazai, he completely loses it.
