“My, my, Captain Narumi,” Hoshina starts in his stupid Kansai dialect, “aren't you a little behind on schedule?”In which the JAKDF hold a party to celebrate the victory of the tragic battle with Kaiju no.9, and Narumi Gen finds himself waking up to his least favourite colleague sleeping soundly besides him.

Which, in part because Knox’s hands were busy, and in part because Knox was catatonic with shock, never came. In fact, of all the words Charlie expected Knox to respond with, they certainly weren’t—
“You’re going on a date with Ginny?”
“Yep! And you’re going on one with Chris!” He meshed his fingers together. “At the same time. It’s a double date—"
“So you’re going on a date with Ginny.”
Alternatively;
Charlie arranges a double date for his best friend and the girl of said best friend's dreams. One small problem—he may have forgotten to specify who's going with who.
