Summary
Tim’s good arm hit the desk a little louder than Jason was comfortable with. “You fucking psycho, I’ll do as I please. Go to hell.”
Finally fed up, Tim stood up straight, very clearly distressed. He jerked his backpack onto his right shoulder and left before Jason could finish saying, “Just finish your work, please.”
And that was how you royally fuck up as a teacher. God, Jason wanted to scream, but he still had a couple of seniors left, still packing up to leave, their eyes wide at the scene that just unfolded. In his head, he’d already started drafting an incident report email to the head school counselor, as well as CCing the two vice principals.
“Have a good day.” Jason weakly mumbled, before collapsing at his desk chair and covering his face.

Summary
Freaking Jason and his freaking nosey-ness at the worst of times. Tim always wanted siblings, but he didn’t think they’d even be annoying.
In reality, Tim was beyond grateful for Jason and his other shithead siblings, but right now, he could definitely do without them accidentally and forcefully outing him.
He knew Jason didn’t mean any real harm, but that was kind of the problem; Jason didn’t mean anything. He just wasn’t thinking.

This whole thing was just the epitome of humiliation. Everything incompetent about the third Robin had been exposed, and the cool and intelligent demeanor he’d been clinging to felt like it’d melted before his very eyes.
If Batman found him in this state, he’d never be let out on the streets again.

“Hey, do you remember my first Halloween here?” Dick piped up. He couldn’t stop his mind from racing about all of the different ways tonight could be a failure, but thinking back to his first spooky celebration with Bruce and Alfred gave him a sense of familiarity.
“Of course I do. I still keep the photo of you and Bruce in my album, in fact. Why do you bring it up?”
“I feel like I’m reliving it again. I’m nervous-- there are new things going on, and I still can’t do my own laundry.”
Alfred snorted at that, bringing over the iron and his shirt to the board.
“But you do remember how that night ended, don’t you?” Alfred asked. “You felt all of those feelings, but you’re still here.”

"Chee'hr…"
"Oh," Dick's voice sounds heartbroken. "No, sweetheart."
Tim can only let out a pained sob.
He will never experience that warmth again.
Hands move to cradle his head and a body pushes against the side of the Medbay cot.
"Shh…" Dick whispers. He rests his chin upon Tim’s head, holding them together protectively. "You can cry. You can sleep."
And so he cries until exhaustion rules and he can’t keep the tears running any longer.

Summary
It's been a few months since Martinaise. Kim has managed to transfer to the 41th, losing his motor carriage in the process. Harry has managed to stay sober, after some initial struggles. Now they're officially partners and following a new case that puts them at odds with the captains. When Harry assaults someone who's barely involved with the case and begins spiraling, Kim can't help but offer him kindness, again. Harry offers something else in return.
