WORLD HEROES MISSION SPOILERS!!! BEWARE!!!
When Izuku draws away to look down at Rody, his tears drip from his nose to land on bloodied cheeks.
“I told you.” he whispers, “I told you we’d see each other again.”
“If dying is what it took to get a kiss I would have died sooner.” Rody mumbles back. Izuku chokes, tears running faster down his cheeks. Rody’s eyes widened, “I-I was kidding.”
“You’re bleeding out.” Izuku sobs, “Now is not the time.”
Oh. Fuck. They are to be quite frank, both dying. Right now. Izuku has no idea when they’ll get out of here. He holds Rody tighter, he should try to staunch the bleeding or something. He isn’t sure where it’s coming from though, and he doesn’t have the strength to tear a piece of his clothing to make a makeshift bandage. The room is in better shape than the rest of the facility. The only opening being the door Izuku had come through minutes ago. It might be the only way out, and if it is, they’re dying in the hall just beyond.
“Hero,” Rody’s hand has slid from his neck up to his face, pawing clumsily at Izuku’s cheeks. “You aren’t gonna be able to carry me out of here.”
