Dragged to Sable, Texas– 2,500 people, two hours from the Oklahoma-Texas border, right in the panhandle– by two men in a truck is not the ideal experience, but you did it anyway. It doesn’t help that you ran a man over the night before and were more or less alright with it.
(or, a slendermansion fic based in the middle of nowhere Texas, where your roommates are weird but the townsfolk are even weirder, especially that white church down the road that doesn’t stand for God anymore.)

Summary

You find yourself in a rotting cabin on a clearing, trees as far as the eye can see. When you realize a deeper connection between you and your captor, the line between fear and curiosity become blurred. You find your life irreversibly changed from this point on, dragged down a path much darker than you could have imagined, and you realize there are worse fates than freezing to death in the forest.
