“You know what fuck you, Simon Riley!” He spat, jabbing a finger into the plate carrier covering Ghost. He felt like he was fuming like his nerves were on fire from the anger he felt.
“What do you want me to say,” Ghost yelled back, “that we will survive and retire and get kids, that we will get a small house with a nice garden? Is that what you wanna hear Johnny? I can’t lie to you, I tell you the truth! I won’t see a retirement, this is it! I will die out there and I won’t drag you down in a coffin with me Johnny!” His eyes intense underneath that stupid skull mask, “what you ask of me is impossible for me to give you, if you have to make me choose between you and the military, my choice is always going to be the military even though I love you!”
Soap lunged, yelling out curses none could even pretend to understand. Soap felt himself be dragged away, he yelled, cursing out Ghost for all the base to hear. Price got in between and Gaz kept his arms around Soap.
“Fine!” he shrugged off Gaz, and stepped backwards towards the barracks, “ye can get what ye want Ghost, ye get the military. I am done with ye!”
OR
Soap and Ghost break up, but then they meet at Gaz’s wedding 12 years later.
