Summary
Following the War of Humans and Monsters, both belligerents agreed that a second war would be too devastating, instead opting to coexist peacefully.
Centuries later, tensions run high, and the two kingdoms are on the brink of war once more. The unlikely duo of Frisk and Chara, heirs to the throne of the Human and Monster Kingdoms respectively, must learn to set aside their differences and cooperate to prevent another calamitous war (amidst backstabbing, dubious ruses, and similar malefaction), lest they face total annihilation.
And try not to kill each other, of course. Though, that's sort of one-sided.
