When both clones and Boyzarro flee the facility they think Superman will accept them in his family, when proven wrong they go after their second parent, Red Hood.

Jason shakes his head. “No, no, no. That’s my job.”Luckily, the stubborn kid accepts that. He wanders to the living room, dropping his backpack on the couch and pulling out a science workbook. Within seconds he’s absorbed again, pencil tapping lightly as he scribbles something far beyond his grade level.
Jason watches him, standing there, leaning in the hallway, breathing through the throb of adrenaline still grinding in his veins.He doesn’t know who touched the doorknob.

Jason turns to lock the door and something barrels into him from behind. Instantly he’s on his guard. Angry green flames leap before his eyes. He twists and grabs hold, flinging whatever it was that assaulted him across the hallway. His other hand strays toward the holster nestled in the small of his back, beneath his jacket.

It was a quiet day until Tim and Bruce were informed that Jason had gone after Dick, who had been kidnapped without either of them realizing it. It was a quiet day until the two of them traveled to a small cabin and found Jason, dead on the concrete floor of a bunker beneath the cabin.
Tim can't bring himself to leave the body, even if he knows it's not likely that Jason will come back this time.

Jason Todd grew up with a fundamental fear of being seen. Not in the sense of shyness, but in the sense of shame. He supposed, if he wished to contemplate the fear’s origins, he might start where most tragedies do:
The house he grew up in.
Where the act of wanting was as good as a death sentence to that desire.
He supposed he might even make an argument for the statement “people become what they are called”. He thinks that might have some merit, looking back.
What he fears most, (like most other people), is how obvious it is to others. The fear itself.
He wonders if they can see it.or
Thanks to a rogue meta, the batfam gets to watch Jason's memories like a movie; and Jason just really wants a family again. But you cannot be loved if you aren't known, and well... if circumstances provide? might as well take the chance, right?
