Summary
Cassandra and Vi have been holding regular bookclub sessions in which they discuss an original lesbian period novel, 'Say Yes to Heaven'. Much to the pleasure of the Piltover Press and displeasure of Vi's actual girlfriend, Caitlyn Kiramman. Vi ponders whether Cassandra's choice of novel may or may not be an allegory for the councillor's relationship with her old friend Grayson.

The front door opens and Natalie breathes in, waiting. But as the lights flicker on, she realizes Misty isn’t with a date, after all. Dressed in scrubs and balancing a work tote and a pink backpack in one hand, she holds a child in the other. The small girl settled on Misty’s hip doesn’t scream or cry at the sight of a stranger with a gun in her home - she just blinks at Natalie, wide-eyed and serious. Natalie lowers the rifle, hearing it clatter as it hits the floor.
