Summary
“He’s not yours!! He’s mine. I’m the only one who has been here for him, he is mine to enjoy,” Long slim fingers wrap delicately around his throat, menacingly, threateningly, lovingly. Akira shortens his breathing, too nervous to encourage the being to press down.
Goro’s face darkens further.
Akira wants to speak, wants to reassure Goro that the being behind him has been stalking him for a decade now, there’s no way it’ll kill its prey so easily, not when it finally has him in its grasp. But his fear stops him. He can try and rationalize the beings actions and methods, but in the end, what’s to stop it from killing Akira the second it thinks it’s finally gotten what it wants?
Or: Akira Kurusu moves from his tiny backwater town to practice his magic in bustling Shibuya. He unknowingly brings with him something only he and the man assigned to be his bodyguard, Goro Akechi, can defeat.

“Good morning,” Akira greeted him.
Akechi merely grunted, heading for the table, then froze and frowned as he looked at the setting.
“Something wrong?” Akira asked, trying to find his mistake but not seeing any.
Chopsticks, coffee, plates, breakfast, everything was there... right?
Akechi grunted again, took his place mat and dragged it with all its content to the other end of the really very long table, before sitting down gingerly.
Shido followed him in only shortly after, sitting down at the other side of the table and Akira was getting the picture.
Working as a butler for Shido and his son comes with challenges Akira has not anticipated - most of which can be summed up with falling for said son.
