The problem with Edward Nygma was that he was so fucking pretty. Goddammed gorgeous. High cheekbones and flame-red hair, sparkling emerald eyes. Broad shoulders and trim waist, elegant and competent. No one should ever have believed that Jonathan Crane, a scarecrow even without his mask, could attract such a pretty green butterfly onto his lap.
