Summary
William was proud of his logical abilities. With simple mathematics, he could discover the secrets of the world and was happy to teach his students and the common people the language of the universe. For his goals, he could conjure up the most confusing plans, lead his enemies into dead ends, predict every outcome. He could be a machine, spitting out plan after plan, giving prediction after prediction and command after command.
In the end, however, William was a simple human man with human desires, and how often was desire rational? He knew sneaking through the Noahtic with a sloppily dressed man who had a mind rivalling his own while a delicate plan was ongoing was not smart. It was dangerous, distracting when no distraction was allowed.
