“Not like that,” he corrects in a hurry. “We can share a sleeping bag and blankets. The heat from my body should help keep yours warm.”
That still doesn’t sound right...
OR:
trapped in a cave during a snow storm, link and zelda have no choice but to snuggle up together to keep warm if they want to survive the night.

He settled into his spot on the couch, reading over the notes. Two of the bedrooms were neatly labeled “Child’s Room 1” and “Child’s Room 2”, and Kaveh smiled at the memory of young Kaveh dreaming of having kids.
(Alhaitham would have laughed at him. That man probably repelled children. Kaveh had done his best to drop the dream when he’d moved in to his current establishment, but… some hope stayed with him)
He continued reading. The notes detailed building materials—all things that were still popular and used. He cracked a smile at the note of “large skylight over kitchen—what shape??”, and the scribbled in rectangle next to “Alhaitham likes rectangles”.
Kaveh paused. Glared at the sketchbook. Narrowed his eyes.
Bah! Why did he care what Alhaitham liked? He much preferred more detailed shapes, so why would he…
Further reading had Kaveh grumbling as he realized it was, in fact, the perfect shape for the little kitchen. Damn young Kaveh and his great taste in windows (and men).

His voice comes low.

In which someone makes an attempt on the Acting Grand Sage's life, and Kaveh finds out about it after the fact.

With what mora? Alhaitham thinks, the witty remark on the tip of his tongue. However, the curious side of Alhaitham takes over his vocal functions.
“Your type is… cute?”
Kaveh blinks at his unusual question but recovers quickly. “Yeah, pretty much. But that’s basically everybody’s type.”
Alhaitham’s type, he surmises, is tall, blond, red-eyed architects, so he’s not sure where Kaveh is getting his evidence from.

Alhaitham learns that Kaveh’s type is “cute.” He loses his mind a little.

Inazuma - crazy bastards, they launched missiles, headed straight for the city. Ten minutes. I’m going to find Nari, be with him at the end. I-” click. The line cut out.
In the sudden silence, Alhaitham heard the terminals in the offices nearby shutting down too. Fuck.
Without a moment’s hesitation, Alhaitham took off sprinting, ignoring the panicked glances from scholars in the halls as he shoved past them without apology. None realized the true peril hurtling toward them from across Teyvat - and Alhaitham didn’t much care to warn them. He had to get home. Now.
If the world was ending, there was only one person he wanted by his side.
