Summary
For a long time, the 141 has been exclusively birds.
This isn’t by design; a lot of those that choose to go spec ops are birds, or particularly well-suited breeds of dogs and cats, the occasional mustelid and, for one particular mission where they’d had to house a foreign unit, a very inconvenient bull. Usually, though, it’s animals that are good in small groups as well as large ones, groups that can form flocks and packs and colonies, respectively.
They are a flock, mismatched and odd though they are, and Ghost has always assumed that, should they welcome a fourth into their unit, for a trial run or otherwise, their prime candidates would be other birds.

Summary
Ghost hates to be touched. Most people recognize and ignore that, but Soap doesn't realize he's doing it in the first place, so he manages to keep touching Ghost on accident. Ghost starts realizing it might not be a bad thing.

Summary
"How long have you been doing this?" He turned to look at the scots face, eyes lingering on the cigarette between plump lips.
'A few years.' Soap turned his face to reciprocate the eye-contact.
"Wait, how old are you?" His eyes widened in a moment of panic.
Soap let out a snort 'Calm doon, I'm 22.'
"Why are you doing it?" Ghost knew someone choosing this kind of profession at a young age like this must have their reasons.
Soap shrugged averting his eyes, exhaling smoke out of his nose 'Out of necessity mainly. Life is expensive, school and groceries aren't exactly cheap either.'
"And your family can't help you out with money?" He was baffled. Wasn´t there another way to pay bills?
A bitter chuckle escaped his lips. 'If there was, they wouldn't help me.' Soap took another drag of his cigarette, looking out onto the street, his face unreadable and gaze far away.

Summary
