The smirk hadn’t left Isagi’s lips. “Calling me over here with eyes like a lost puppy, when just last night you were practically drooling like a deranged, thirsty mutt.”
Isagi flinched at the loud metallic bang that was Rin’s palm against the lockers, trapping Isagi between himself and the locker. He had to look up to meet Rin’s, now darkened, eyes.
“You want deranged?” Rin's other hand slid up Isagi’s side, causing a chill to run up his spine, but his stare stayed unwavering. “I’ll show you.”

Summary
At first, Zhongli thought nothing of Childe’s increased absence during their usual lunch appointments. it wasn’t as if Zhongli couldn’t understand. Childe is a harbinger, after all.
Zhongli also thought nothing of that time Childe had to bolt off to work towards the end of said lunch.
"He is a busy man,” Zhongli mused in thought.Naturally, Zhongli also didn’t think much of when Childe had to briefly excuse himself during a much delayed, late-evening 'lunch'.
Of course, Zhongli didn’t mind. Not with the sweet, apologetic smile Childe had offered him, he would never mind.He did, however, mind the scenery he saw through Liuli Pavilion’s windows that evening.
Childe stood opposite the fatui agent, looking oddly at the bunch of flowers pushed towards him.
They were neatly tied with a pretty pink bow.Then Zhongli watches wide-eyed as the fatui agent mutters a few words, making Childe visibly turn pink and look away, flustered.
“Who in Celestia does he think he is?” Zhongli’s voice lowers to a growl, teacup shockingly strong enough to withstand his fury-fueled grip. -

Ah, the Lantern Rite.
Fun festivities, delicious food, beautiful views, and most importantly, family.Lumine would call her experience of the lantern rite a wonderfully satisfying one - if only she wasn't missing that last part.
Her one and only reachable family is, ironically, unreachable.
But even then she could still enjoy the rite and have a great time, right?
... right?(Title is a play on Rex Lapis' Rite of Passing and Lantern Rite)

Summary
That’s a draw to Lyney, a gravitational attraction.
The simple explanation would be that he reminds her of her brother. The even simpler explanation would be that he’s dazzling—is made to dazzle, to lure, to distract, by the very nature of his profession. Like a shining conch lying at the floor of the ocean, leading Lumine astray from her initial quest in favour of running her hand over its spiny, glittering surface. Perhaps the distraction is why it aches a little less, letting herself get carried by the roar of the gasps and cheers and applause of the crowd.
However, Lyney is more than just a magician donning a top hat; he embodies the concept well, but he’s only human. Capable of performing, just as capable of being hurt.
And sometimes, he looks at her strangely. After his performance ends, when the afterglow has worn off, when the adrenaline has dissipated, he always glances at her, a little sad of eye.
