Hob moved his hands as if to reach for him but stopped himself half way, roaming eager eyes over him.
Dream swallowed, made himself reach forward to take one of Hob’s hands in his. It felt large, warm and calloused against his own, worn from decades of hard work.He watched Hob shudder all over at the touch, watched his upper body pitch forward a little as if to get closer.
Dream had seen this before. After wars, after disasters.

In 2089, after the apocalypse, Dream comes to find Hob Gadling at their inn. -
