Summary
The man in front of him was a hybrid. A predator his mind whispered when his eyes met those blond ears speckled with sand-colored rosettes. A leopard.
“Minho is an experienced bodyguard,” Chan introduced him as Jisung seemed unable to look away with his predatory gaze—blond hair the same color as the fur on his ears, fine, elegant features, dark eyes, and a tail with the same rosettes that swung slowly and attentively behind him. “until now, he had served for ten years with a prominent family in Seoul.”
“Why did you stop?” Jisung asked, unable to stop himself, and it was the first question he asked a candidate that day. But it was a legitimate question, hybrid predators weren’t usually bodyguards. Or at least, they weren't a bodyguard after serving one person or family for so long. Hybrid predators were territorial; felines even more so. Minho was a rarity in himself.
“The person I was responsible for protecting is still alive, if that’s your question.”
Or: Jisung has a stalker threatening his life. Minho's the perfect person to protect him.

Jisung had just grabbed his boxer briefs off the floor to put back on when he caught sight of himself in the mirror and stopped dead in his tracks. His eyes trailed down from his dark, fluffy, curly hair, to the tattoos on his chest and ribcage that were surrounded by small purple mouth-shaped bruises, and, finally, his gaze landed on his butt. He blinked. Rubbed his eyes. Shook his head. But no matter what he did, it was still there:
A bright red mating bite on his left asscheek.
OR: Omega Jisung wakes up after a one-night stand with a bite mark on his ass. It wasn’t supposed to mean anything, but it stuck somehow - though he’s sure he didn’t bite back since the bond still feels unfinished. And now he needs to find the alpha who did it, because his body is wilting away without his mate.

Summary

Summary
He’s not exactly struggling yet. He can see that there’s a lot Jisung wants to explore physically, and he feels like the luckiest person alive knowing he’s the one Jisung trusts with it. That Jisung opened up to him and shared things from his heart. How it all came at a time when Minho was terrifyingly close to giving up.
But just like before, he knows there’s a limit. Another boundary. Jisung isn’t doing this with the intention of building something with Minho. They aren’t dating. Jisung isn’t even looking for a relationship. And sure, maybe they’ll have fun. They’ll experiment. They’ll make each other feel good. But Jisung isn’t his.
There will come a time when all the things they do together, Jisung will do with someone else.
He buries the thought and tries to focus on sleeping. The less he thinks about it, the better. He’s good at staying composed.
Be good for your best friend. Give him everything he needs. Stop thinking so selfishly, Minho.
And don’t you dare think of it as something it isn’t.
