Tim made a surprised noise and his eyes snapped up to Bernard, his eyebrows so high they disappeared under his bangs. Uh. Maybe he wasn't upset, and he'd never known Tim to be particularly shy. So...
"You like that?"
Tim made another noise, then pulled back, because having a dick in his mouth wasn't very conducive to having a conversation. Bernard couldn't help a small whine of disappointment at the loss.
"What?" Tim asked, voice rough. His cheeks were still flushed red.
"Hum, it just seemed that you liked it when I said that."
Tim's eyebrows furrowed, and he looked away, turning the words around in his head.
After a little, he seemed to reach a conclusion.
"I guess." Ok, so not much of a conclusion. Which was fine, there was no rush, they could figure it out together.
Or: While messing around, Bernard realizes Tim has a massive praise kink.

Conner hadn't been avoiding Gotham on purpose, honest. It's just, things got complicated, and he needed time to work through them. Regardless of his feelings on the matter, he ends up back in the city earlier than he'd hoped. It's fine, though, totally chill, because he's pretty sure he's got a handle on everything now. He can be normal again, as long as they stay normal.
Unfortunately, Tim and Bernard seemed to have missed that particular memo.
