Ernesto stumbled backward and nearly dropped the glass he’d only just picked up, the air leaving his lungs all at once. Fang winced and stood up from her barstool as if to help the poor dog, then sat back down once he’d regained his balance.
“N-nevermind,” she said. “Sorry! Um, the chances are low, so maybe don’t stress about it too much! Or, if you need a drink, I guess you’re in the right place for it…”
