    PART TWO TO hey, asshole.

He drank from his plastic cup, wishing he could have been something bigger, something more.

    Still, this was important.

Important to him, important to Quackity.

    Maybe just once.

"Have you ever known? What you wanted?"

Quackity looked up at the stars, breathing in the night.

"I don't think so, not really."

    "Never?"

    "Never."

Quackity turned his eyes to Sapnap. Giving him his full attention, he asked with little subtlety,

    "Have you?"

    Summary

After Quackity loses one of his lives to Technoblade during the Butcher Army Arc, he is so badly injured he is forced to revert to his healing form, a small, harmless duck. Alex takes refuge in a house in the middle of snowy tundras, soon realizing he stumbled into his enemies house. But when Technoblade, unaware of who the duck is, doesn't throw him out and instead takes him in, caring for him and showing his soft side to the duck, Quackity realizes he was wrong about the man. After months of healing up, he can finally leave, but finds that he doesn't exactly want to. He felt safer here with Technoblade than he ever did anywhere else, especially when he was with Jschlatt. But when the spirit of the former president starts speaking to him again, he finds himself in a horrible game of Duck, Duck, Goose. Try to survive, don't get chosen, and if he is, run for his life. He has to choose, the man he's come to think of as a friend, or the man who still had so much power over him that he felt trapped in a cage, unable to spread his wings.

    Summary

'𝘴𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵'

Heavy base vibrated through Quackity's bones leaving goosebumps on his skin.

'𝘐'𝘮 𝘵𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘶𝘱 𝘮𝘺 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥'

Quackity shivered but not from the cold.

    '𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘪 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭'

Karl mumbled the lyrics, moving his hand through the breeze, wading through the cool night air.

'𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭?'

    Quackity copied the other boy.

'𝘐 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦'

    It was so so nice.

    '𝘕𝘰𝘸 𝘐'𝘮 𝘯𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦.'

The cool air took Quackity's worries with it as it berated his face. His eyes were watering but the wind fought to keep up, pushing the tears off his face, Quackity realized that the water wasn't just from the wind, he was crying.
