Summary
The rain was burning everything around her, but Luz’s eyes were caught on Amity – cheeks far more flushed than Luz had ever seen them, panting softly and barely holding up her own umbrella-like forcefield to prevent herself from getting burnt. The acid rain bit at her feet, which were turned in on each other, and added to the feeling of her hunched-over shoulders – that Amity looked small, and flustered, and vulnerable.
“I’m sorry,” Amity began, a tremor on her lips that Luz wanted to, but couldn’t, discount to the cold. “I didn’t know where else to go. Can I stay?”
The Amity-runaway AU, because something is up with her parents, and we all know it.

“Wow,” says Luz, looking at Hunter in wonder as he lowers a hand to pet the tiny creature, shocked at the softness of its fur. “Human animals seem to really have a soft spot for you, buddy.”
The small tuft of fur under his hands is warm, and so delicate. Hunter feels ready to combust with the responsibility of holding it.
“Why?” He asks, looking back up at Luz. “I haven’t done anything to earn their trust.”
Luz shrugs. “I’ve heard they’re pretty good judges of character,” she says, leaning in to nudge him with her shoulder.
“I’m not a good person,” Hunter says, stroking the bunny. “I’ve done bad things.”
He expects Luz to coddle him – to vehemently deny, defend his honor – but instead she just shrugs again. “That was before,” she says, like it’s the simplest thing in the world. “What matters now is that you regret it – and that you’ve changed.”
Or: 5 times human animals placed their trust in Hunter, and the one time it counted.

Summary
Adora landed in a heap of trash bags with a groan. Her back, now, as well as her side – ached with a fiery reminder that something was severely wrong there.
Rolling off to the side and onto the grimy street was much harder than it normally would be. All the air had been beaten out of her on impact – she gasped for it, but between the thick, stale smoke of the back-alley and the stench of the garbage, it wasn’t coming to her.
She ripped off her red mask, gulping in air and half-hunching over herself to place a hand to the gushing wound in her side. She probably had to treat that, at some point.
“Well,” Adora whipped round at the sound of another voice, mouth gaping reflexively. At the end of the alleyway, Catra stood, a hand resting on her hip, her lips twisted up into that smirk she was oh-so-familiar with. “Isn’t this a surprise?”
“Catra,” Adora mumbled, taking note of how sluggish her words came out – and how the pain in her side was making her dizzy. “Hey.”
And then she passed out.

Adrien's always been good in front of the camera - he figured he had time, and he had drive - why not make a YouTube account? Except, it blew up. With his growing relationship with Marinette - and Ladybug's weird relationship advice - he feels like everybody's eyes are on him. And his fanbase is a little too intuitive...

“You’re not-“ Chloe sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose, between her perfectly shaped eyebrows. “You aren’t dying, Adrien. But you sure as hell are killing yourself.”
Adrien finished doing up his shirt and rubbed a finger under his nose, sniffling a bit. He moved to the bathroom, and Chloe followed – watching as Adrien grabbed some tissue and blew his nose a few times.
Once he finished, he turned to her, holding out his arms. “How do I look?” He asked.
“Like shit,” she responded honestly. “Now come on. We’re going to an STI clinic, so you can get tested, and then we’re going shopping.”
Gabriel Agreste’s fall from grace had not been, for lack of a better word, graceful. He’d been exposed, and overnight he was ruined – imprisoned with many life sentences to his name. Adrien, it seemed, had been broken into a million little glass shards by the process.
And Chloe Bourgeois was all that was left to pick up the pieces.

Of all the ways in which her identity had been at risk, Marinette had never expected this. Yes, she was best friends with the Ladyblogger – which meant she was able to see first-hand the sheer determination that drove Alya to figure out the identities of Paris’s two main superheroes. But… as she sat in the classroom, listening to Alya rant about how Marinette was definitely Chat Noir, and she was certain of it, Marinette couldn’t help but wonder what in the hell had caused her to come to that conclusion.
Or: Alya thinks Marinette is Chat Noir; the reveal fic absolutely nobody asked for.
