By the end of freshman orientation, Riki knew he wanted to be friends with Jungwon. By the end of their first week of classes, Riki knew he had a crush on Jungwon. By the end of their first month in college, Riki vowed to ask Jungwon out by the end of the semester.

“Ah, Chan,” Minho began, causing Chan to look at the man at his side. A barely-there smile was painted across his face, reminding Chan more and more of a cat scoping out its ball of yarn. “Want to dance? I don’t know when Felix will be back, and I can hardly wait to experience a real Texan soiree.”
Chan raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms over his chest. “Dancing is a very dangerous game. People don’t take it lightly over here,” He replied. He failed to mention that it wasn’t the dancing per say, but who would be chosen as a partner that made the town gossip. Dancing with family and spouses were considered normal, but two young singles dancing together under the stars? That, in essence, was meant to stake a claim, an act of romantic interest.
Still. Minho’s smile didn’t falter one bit. “I’ll take my chances. I’m no stranger to whispers from old ladies and gossips.” He extended his arm to Chan, palm faced up and ready. “Dance with me, Chan.”
(Chan’s life in Crockett County, Texas was filled with the same gossiping mommas, foolish men, and unchanging routine. Minho changes that.)

Summary
Jungwon descended into the Underworld to turn the tide of death and retrieve only one thing, the most important thing: his husband. The sole condition given for their release was that Jungwon had to lead them out, but he was not allowed to turn around. He could not look at or speak to Riki even once, not until they rejoined the living above ground.
Jungwon couldn’t turn around, but: “Look at me,” Riki whispered, and Jungwon couldn’t help it. He did.

Summary
Riki feels his fangs aching, begging for something to sink into. Like Jungwon’s neck.
Jungwon on the other hand doesn’t consider Riki’s newfound habit of biting people a good thing. So he must do something to correct it before he too gets to be on the receiving end.Or: Jungwon shoves his fingers into Riki’s mouth to fix his behaviour. For some reason it works.

Summary
Jungwon works as a host at a luxurious host club in Itaewon. Pretty, highly requested, and stuck in a life that looks glamorous from the outside and feels like a cage from the inside.
Riki has his own cage, too: more than a century of nights as a vampire, an eternity that always tastes the same. All of it spent at Sunghoon’s side. His maker, his companion, and a chain that pulls too tight.
Riki only walks into the club to hunt.
Then he sees Jungwon’s face and freezes.
It’s the same face as the boy he loved and lost 150 years ago, back when Riki was still human… and Sunghoon turned him into a vampire to “save” him.Riki tells himself it’s coincidence. It can’t be true.
But he keeps coming back. Watching, following, getting too close, touching Jungwon like he has the right to. Until every encounter feels like a dare neither of them can refuse. Jungwon learns fast there’s something wrong in Riki, something not human. But fear doesn’t stop the craving. He still leans in. Still lets Riki pull him into shadows that feel wrong and alluring at the same time.Riki tries to stop. Humans should be food and nothing more. He can’t.
