“Hyung…” Seungmin sighs. It’s a fight he’s going to lose, he can see that. But it feels so wrong, displacing Minho like this because of his own stupidity.
“We can share it,” Minho says, rolling his eyes. “Would that make you feel better?”
It would be bizarre to climb under the covers with someone he barely knows. People do it all the time, stumbling home late at night with a stranger, nervous and trying to keep quiet, not wake up the household. They get undressed, they get into bed, and so on…But this isn’t that. It would almost be easier if it was. The expectations would be clear. It wouldn’t be an imposition because Seungmin would be giving something back. Here, though, Minho isn’t asking him to reciprocate generosity. He’s not letting him.
“Okay,” Seungmin says.

Or: Seungmin suspects the life he's lived is not the life that was intended for him. So, he flies to South Korea to see what things would've been like had he never left. Everything changes once he meets Lee Minho.

“More like a collection of love letters,” Jisung says. He doesn’t look at Seungmin while he says it, but he does look after. He sees in Seungmin everything he’s been afraid Seungmin will see in him. So much tenderness, so much understanding, so much history.
“Yeah?” Seungmin asks.
“Yeah,” Jisung answers.

Jisung is an idol in the midst of a career ruining scandal that leaves him socially isolated. He seeks out his old childhood best friend, Seungmin, but finds that reconciliation doesn’t come easily. After all, he and Seungmin have a complicated past, and an even more complicated future ahead of them.

Jisung blinks. “You kissed me just to shut me up?” He wishes he would do it again. Should he start rambling? Suddenly he finds his mind utterly blank.
“To shut you up, yes,” Seungmin affirms. “But also because you’re in love with me.”
In… love…? Jisung doesn’t think he knows what love is. “Did I write that?” he wonders stupidly. “Oh my god, I don’t even remember if I wrote that.”
“Not in so many words,” Seungmin explains. “But it’s—god, you didn’t even read it back?”
“I was scared to,” he admits. “I’m in love with you?”
Wherein Jisung is really fucking weird about his roommate.
