"It's as I suspected. You're in pre-Rut, Will," he declares, pulling back to meet Will's half-lidded eyes, which soon sharpen in panic. "We need to get you back to Wolf Trap immediately before your symptoms set in." And set in they soon would, thanks to the Rut stimulant Hannibal just slipped into Will's coffee.

After the tragic death of his younger sister, Hannibal isn’t sure whether he wants to continue his career as a psychiatrist. When Hannibal gets a call from a long-time colleague and friend, his first thought is to decline, but when he hears how desperate she is for his help, Hannibal has to accept.
The young omega male patient, brought in only the night before, will not sit still long enough for anyone to examine him. His extreme, almost animalistic behavior prevents any health professional from coming too close and is so unprecedented that Hannibal can’t help but feel intrigued.

Hannibal had merely raised an eyebrow and called for the check; they’d made it into the doctor’s elegant bedroom before the mask fell away, revealing the pure, unadulterated desire that had been laying in wait behind the gorgeous crimson of Hannibal’s eyes. Yet he still managed to keep himself in check; inch my torturous inch, he still took his time.
