Not that he would ever admit it, but just because he had a sense of public decency doesn’t mean that Sungho completely hated the attention. It wouldn’t be the grand, extravagant moments he remembered, but rather the way he would sometimes fix Sungho’s collar or sleeve, dusting imaginary lint caringly over his hyung’s shirt without wanting to pull back. Those moments have always felt more intimate than they should have, and it was in those moments where Sungho would catch himself wondering if this was just how Jaehyun was, or if it was different with him.
OR: Sungho decides that this year, he’s going to surprise Jaehyun for Valentine’s Day instead of the other way around.

Summary
And Jaehyun? Jaehyun really, really loved seeing Sungho happy. He loves all versions of Sungho, of course, but especially the version that exists right now. He likes seeing Sungho, away from the routines and dance practices, so openly excited about something he likes that it makes his chest burn in the best way possible. When Sungho is happy, he is happy too.
So the logic here is simple: if Sungho loves photography, Jaehyun is going to love photography too.

Whatever you say, Rin thinks, but he makes sure to plaster that same smile on his face to not show any indifference. He doesn’t get paid enough to discuss life lessons with his customers. “And, what’s the name for the order?”
“Isagi.” The boy says, “Yoichi Isagi.”
Rin’s hand hesitates as he writes the name on the cup. He didn’t need to hear the name of the kid to know he was right: the face was unfortunately confirmation enough. It was the kid who had a bad habit of showing up quite literally everywhere like irritating background noise: lingering in the halls, popping up randomly in his classes, and now, apparently, also in this cafe.
Yoichi Isagi. And of course, because Rin’s luck is terrible, that name is now scrawled in black ink, over a cup that he has to hand back to Isagi in less than five minutes.

Summary
Sae Itoshi rarely makes mistakes. He didn’t drift, he didn’t wander: his trajectory was fixed and he never strayed from that path. That just wasn’t who he was: there were no second-chances in his mind, no time for hesitation, no room for error. It wasn’t that he was unable to admit when he did make mistakes and preconceptions: he just preferred to admit these faults less. That was something he could understand completely.
But what Sae couldn’t understand was how a mistake could seem so wrong but feel so right.

And you know what else was a problem? Jaehyun, standing inches away from him, one hand wrapped protectively around Sungho’s waist, the other clasping Sungho’s hand with such firmness yet gentleness it made Sungho’s head spin. But he did it like it was no big deal, as if it were all natural.
To Sungho, it was a pretty big deal.

The dance practices leading up to their 123-78 performance, but the partner dancing choreography is with Sungho and Jaehyun. And each dance practice increases the tension exponentially (it gets more and more chaotic).
