“Shut up,” Jude laughs, his face crimson now. “You are so cringe. You know it’s not like that. We’re just friends.”
Jobe rolls his eyes playfully.
“We are!” Jude insists. “Come on. Think of what I’m dealing with here. When you turn twenty-one, wouldn’t you rather marry someone you actually like?”
“I know,” Jobe says softly, kissing his brother’s cheek. “I get it. I’m just teasing you. I don’t envy you. I know you wouldn’t be doing this if you didn’t have to. And I want you to find some sort of happiness from your marriage. So if you have to marry someone, it might as well be him.”

As he approaches his twenty-first birthday, Prince Jude of the Kingdom of Bellingham will be offered to the royal families of the neighbouring kingdoms, so that their eligible alphas may bid for his hand in marriage if they wish.
