    A great sickfic/injury fuc. Natsume (dizzy from returning Names) falls on the stairs and breaks his wrist. Usual doctor visits, usual fic mentions of anemia -- but this fic follows up!! Touko buys a pomegranate (niether of them have eaten one before) and pulls out all the seeds for them to share. Its a very sweet and well done bonding moment

    Fun and interesting, i really like what this ads to her character!! And all of her actions in S1 (and even in the flashback episode explaining their relationship before Neal went to jail) make much more sense tied together with this plot thread.

    fic spoilers

    [ending:She survives the explosion but only by using magic. and once she realizes that a) Neal et al. assumes she died b) she can't explain her survival without magic -- she decides to leave for the sea. So no further plot divergence from canon, I would assume. Unless you want to imagine glomming this with one of those "actually I was alive" later reveal fics, I've read at least one of those. Anyways, bit of a downer ending but it fits teh story (and canon lol, not that I care about canon)

    Fun crossover! Junes house is haunted/infested with wights and the Winchesters invite themselves in to deal with it (fortunately June is on board with this when she finds them). BEST depiction of June I've read in a fanfic, i think, love how Dean is both intimidated by and ready to worship her.

    The woman is impressive. Dean knows from women, and this is one he doesn't want to mess with. She's sweet enough, big dark eyes and perfect dark hair and skin that kind of glows from the inside -- not in a scary way, he doesn't think he's going to have to ice her or anything, but definitely in that way that makes a guy take notice. She's more than twice his age, and has double the bosom of any woman Dean's ever had the pleasure of, but there's a spark in her eyes that dares him to consider making a whole series of exceptions.

    Her name is June. And she is extremely, extremely pissed.

    "I know FBI," she tells them. "And you boys are not FBI. You don't know Peter, either, because if you did, you wouldn't be here claiming to work with him when that is not the case. I also know criminals; I married one and I look after another, and you're clearly not here to rob or con me. I would know." When her chin comes up, Dean suffers through a ridiculous urge to kneel.

    Kate's ghost after the wights, turns out the music box (which Neal did NOT, in this AU give to the Russian museum) is drawing all the monsters. Castiel shows up and deals with it. Winchesters leave.

    Some fun bonding and snark all across the fic. More character focus on the wWnchesters for most of it, but a little on peter and (es) Neal too. Somehow manages to be a Neal Whump fic yet again lol, though its mostly emotional whump (grieving kate)
