Please be careful when handling diethyl ether, and absolutely do not expose it to heat or flame.
Ajax has been a part of the Fatui for over a year now. Thanks to his abundance of passion for combat, he's advanced past his peers at an unforeseen rate. By special order, he is relocated to the capital city of Snezhnaya for an exclusive month-long training program with a famous Inazuman swordswoman. He meets a new recruit by the name of Zhongli, who not only matches Ajax's skill in combat, but also seems to be harboring some type of secret regarding his identity and his intentions in joining the Fatui. The two of them grow closer over the course of their training. As their graduation date grows near, so too does the unraveling of a narrative that reaches far beyond what Ajax ever could have imagined.

I’ve been gutted, flayed alive, peeled apart fiber by fiber, fed to caged rats that are being chased by a burning rod, smeared across the pavement by a semi truck, crushed by god’s mortar and pestle, eaten by flesh-eating bacteria, ground into minced meat, sucker punched by John Cena, shot thirty three times in the chest, called out to the moon and back, stuffed with mentos and coke and shaken, impaled on poisonous spikes, and obliterated by this fic omfg……… I have vivid memories of a tear falling down my cheek as I finished this, having read the entire thing between midnight and 3 AM in a hotel bed I shared with my dad.
