Now, that is strange. Is there reason to assume he wouldn’t want to? The way Dustin lists all of their names, why would Will be the odd one out again, why would his name not fit into the enumeration of people who are normal and not afraid of the bright, red, fun liquid glaring at him in provocation, the color stinging in his eyes like a warning sign? Being babied, picked up earlier than his friends from everywhere, only receiving pitying, disgusted glances, being a freak and a—
“No, I’d like to try”, he shrugs. “Last high school party, right?”
Will tries his best to ignore the glance shot at him somewhere from his left, but that proves to be rather difficult. After all, Mike’s stare feels heavier than usual for some reason.
Despite his inner turmoil desperately begging him not to, Will decides to join the party in going to the last high school party of their life. As expected, he regrets it immediately, if the way he hurts himself and his best friend is anything to go by. It does lead to them having important conversations, though.

If I had to give a warning label to this fanfic, it’s that you’ll never see the world the same. Like, okay, I’ve read a lot of fanfics in my life. I’ve loved stories with so many characters, and I’ve found many wonderful pieces that play with this pairing and I have loved them. But let’s get one thing straight, IWSYNTTR isn’t just a good fanfic. In my life, this story made me want to try writing songs, it made me love music in a way I’d never loved before, it made me aspire to write in a way that enriches a character just by the stylization of a word rather than a decision in the plot. This is a story that made me want to create, and to keep creating. I first read this fanfic in 2021, in the worst year of my life, and it made me dream. My notes mean to hype these up, they’re supposed to let you know how I felt in regards to the story. But this isn’t something I can even try to describe why it brings these things out of me. This is a piece that redefined how I see fanfiction, music, writing, life. We all have those singular, silly pieces of media that awaken something in us. This was the one for me.

Summary
After Hirotsu gives them their offerings, they exchange rings, and Dazai never, not once, breaks eye contact even as they're instructed to kiss. Chuuya expects a wet tongue in his mouth as some sort of demonstration of dominance, so he's surprised when Dazai's hand lifts to cover them both, and the only thing that's pressed to his lips — the corner of them, to be precise — is a dry, fleeting kiss.
And then it's done.
Chuuya is officially, irrevocably married to the one and only head of the mafia.
Or, an AU in which king of the sheep Chuuya has to marry port mafia boss Dazai to get one of his people out of jail.

Yes. This is a super fucking long piece of literature. I read it in three days, and it’s my best time ever, but even I have to admit that was actually pretty insane. Anyway, this fanfic is such a fucking journey, things just keep happening and the stakes keep changing, and you literally can’t get bored. Except that three chapter interval that is pure smut, I think that was a bit much, but since this fanfic is 450k words and the story traverses 50 motherfucking chapters, we’re going to forgive that lapse of extreme sexual content in one go and appreciate the masterpiece as a whole. I love this story so much, I want to re-read it so bad, but I’m still healing with what this story did to me that third week of December.
Literally one of my favorite fics of all time.

Soukoku Music AUs are their own genre, and they are what lift me in life. There’s something so fitting of that setting for them, with the way the ship thrives off passion and energy, that the wildness within the nature of the characters translates perfectly. This fanfic is just an openly lovely version of a celebrity story, and I really appreciate the tone it uses. It’s a fun fic, and I truly recommend it.

Why he had that reaction, he would ponder on later during one of his sleepless nights because Dazai had never been one for experiencing emotions, and at the moment that weird organ in his chest was fluttering-
Perhaps this man was so hideous that Dazai had gone into cardiac arrest.

(my own) Synopsis:
Dazai doesn’t expect to almost hit a dog on his way home while on the phone with his subordinate. He didn’t expect to grab the dog and take it to a veterinarian. He didn’t expect the veterinarian to drag him in like gravity itself and somehow get him to actually want to keep the dog. But here he is. And he keeps going back to the vet, again and again. For Daisy, of course. Also yeah, he knows it’s not an intimidating name but she liked it-
Notes:
This fic is so unserious, it’s hilarious. It has an actual plot somewhere in there, which I think you’ll love. Also, watching Dazai just be actual shit at dating is HILARIOUS and I’m sure you’ll laugh too. I've read this one thrice now.
