The sharp cry of a fowlbeast pierced the cold air, and Monch warily looked up, pulling her scarf over her nose and mouth again to conceal her breath. A dark shape wheeled in the clouded sky high above; too high for her to make out if it was an ordinary fowlbeast or that accursed creature she’d caught watching her more than once. It would be just her luck: finally back in Kjerag after three years, and immediately spotted.

“I’m here to check on Ensia and have a chat with the Doctor,” Enciodes smiled.
For two people who were very good actors, they were terrible liars. Or maybe she just knew them too well to believe anything but the fact that those reasons were completely fabricated or extremely extemporaneous ones.

Eito fixes him in place with a look, a feigned sadness in his gaze. "Come on... I've gone out of my way to make you such a lovely gift, and this is how you repay me? You're going to throw it back in my face like this? You really are a loathsome little thing." He sighs, drawn-out and wistful. Takumi needs to punch him square in the face.
"For what." It comes out stilted, through gritted teeth. "What for? Do you just wanna see me wear..." The sheer mortification stops him from even saying it. He actually might combust into flames if he says it out loud. He just gestures wildly at the collar with his hands, and Eito gets the idea pretty quickly.
"Hm. Well." Eito trails off, his gaze flitting away. He turns his head, just a fraction, and the lights coming from the ceiling shine off the surface of his glasses. "... I guess the plan wasn't to stop at seeing, per se."
Takumi puts a collar on himself, and contemplates his poor choices, and involves Eito in his poor choices.

But Takumi is a human. An awful, terrible, vile human being. A human determined to subject himself to that kind of pain, to the point where he'd seek out even worse methods when he was getting used to it - just to try and get rid of him. With no guarantee that it would work, but just as a final desperate last gambit. The very thought makes his skin crawl.
There was nothing normal about this boy. And yet, Eito finds himself missing that bright determination burning deep inside of his nemesis. Because, and he'd admit it readily at this point, this wasn't how he wanted to see him.
Sometimes, he tries to hug Takumi. He mimics the feeling of his arms wrapping around him, squeezing him - as if Eito could force the scattered pieces of him back together if he just held him tightly enough.
After the endurance match, Takumi is sent back to the last decision he'd made. His memories remain intact. Eito takes it upon himself to deal with the consequences.

Her realization comes in the form of watching Bridge Four train. This was suggested by Szeth as a way for her and the other Radiants to learn about Windrunners and their abilities, and she was very resistant indeed because she had turned over a new page that involved not ogling Kaladin, but about ten minutes into pointedly watching any of the other bridgemen who are not Kaladin, she realizes that Adolin has had no such compunctions and is very much ogling Kaladin.
She almost laughs out loud.
