“Nooooo…But Tangoooo…” Jimmy moaned pitifully, more for show than anything. He was actually in some form of agreement about calling Grian, because his stomach felt awful and tight, and he had a thrumming feeling of anxiety that he only recognized in very sick animals. Or from that time he’d had a glitch deep in his code, that they’d needed to go to Hypixel to get fixed.
Jimmy had tried to rearrange the Ranch’s furniture twice already this week out of nerves, and it was only Tango tripping and almost breaking both their necks over the couch that put a stop to it.
“No butts!” Tango patted Jimmy’s as if for emphasis, and Jimmy was too weak and tired to kick him. “You’re getting looked at mister, and probably taking it easy for a few days. You’ve been pushing through, and that’s no way to get better.”

Scott slipped back below the water, continuing his circles and starting to weave between their legs. The next time he popped up it was Tango who caught him in his arms, holding the wriggling siren out the water as he glanced down at him with red eyes.
“You need to use your words, Sweetheart,” he said.
“I- words, right,” Scott murmured, his head resting on Tango's shoulder as some of the tension drained out of him already. “I feel like I'm going to burst. Everything inside of me is too much. Please help me turn my brain off.” He turned watery eyes on Tango, and Martyn had to marvel at the blaze’s self restraint.
“Help you how?” Tango asked, gazing right back.

“I mean-” Was he really about to say this? He was comfortable with Jimmy and Tango, but maybe this was crossing a line. Was this going to make them uncomfortable? “I'm not asexual. I want to have sex.” He waited a second, getting two reassuring nods in response. “But for some stupid reason, god I don’t even know why, I want it to be special. I don't want to just have a one night stand. I don't want to just hook up with a stranger. I want to have sex with someone important. You know. Like a boyfriend. Who I'll never have because I don't want one.”
“Well that's not true,” Jimmy pointed out. “I was your boyfriend, for all of a month.”
“Three weeks,” Scott corrected.
“Close enough.” Jimmy shrugged, pushing himself off Tango so that he was instead curled into Scott's side.
“You hear what you're saying, right?” Scott checked. “In case you've missed it, you're currently implying that you would have sex with me.”
“No, I am well aware of that,” Jimmy grinned, sharing a long look with Tango that Scott couldn't quite decipher.
