Haruka has a fever and won't wake up. Kiryu has heard the stories of the witch and warlock who live in the forest outside the village. Desperate, Kiryu makes the journey to the cottage in the woods in the middle of a stormy night. He doesn't expect that Majima will be the one to open the door when he knocks, begging for help, but it almost doesn't matter. He just wants Haruka to wake up.

Akame usually waited by the helicopter when they went to The Castle, but this time she took Joryu’s offered hand and followed him into the flood of lights and fireworks. Colors bounced against her, coloring her red hair and clothes first fuschia, then violet, then amber. Her hand was small in his, and Joryu refused to let himself think this could ever become something normal—that he could ever experience “normal” again.His hand drifted to the small of her back, offering a gentle yet protective signal both to her and any onlookers who thought they could run their claws through her. They headed upstairs, and Akame managed to keep her composure as Joryu took out six million yen in chips. He pulled out a chair for her at the blackjack table, but she shook her head.
“I don't gamble.”

The instant he hears the sound coming from Link’s mouth, Revali’s attention moves back to the console again. The wind rushes by the latticework frame of Vah Medoh, filling the silence. “It wouldn’t translate,” he says after a too-long pause. There are no whistles now. “Not in a way you’d understand, anyway, O hero. You’re much too busy being that sword’s packmule.”
